Here is the definition of a server room
This is my FH's deparatment
A server room is a room that houses mainly computer servers. In information technology circles, the term is generally used for smaller arrangements of servers; larger groups of servers are housed in data centers. Server rooms usually contain headless computers connected remotely via KVM switch, ssh, VNC, or remote desktop.[1]
Basically there are racks of computers and all those wires plug into them, and they run the entire house, everything is computerized. You can talk to the house and it talks back, if you are cold you tell it and the heat will come on.
IF you want to know the weather you just ask the house, every room has voice, speakers, infrared, motion etc.
96,000 feet of wire my FH put into the house.
Theres so many features, like license plate recognition when someone drives onto the driveway. 38 Outdoor cameras some with pan tilt zoom lenses.
Fingerprint dector at the front. Natural gas dectors, 140 zone alarm system.
You can call the house from your cell phone, and turn the tub on and preset the tempurature so when u get home its filled ready. The list goes on and on
MY FH is looking to expand his technology company to include home automation, IT is going to be a great selling feature to be able to bring clients in to see everything working and give them a great demo...so hopefully they want it in their house as well.
We already have a few clients and its not even finished yet.
I cant wait to entertain!!!

I love all the stuff you're doing to your house (I'm taking some ideas from you and influencing what I do to my house.... ) I love that server room... 
No server room in my remodel, but at least I get my computer room back (DD's current bedroom is my old computer room), so I can have one room with all my computers and stuff. Nothing fancy, just a couple of PCs, and maybe hook up my UNIX machine again.
Thanks for letting us all live vicariously through your remodel....
