New Convertible Carseat (The First Years)
Anyone heard anything good or bad about this new carseat?
Seems to be a good deal w/ side impact, goes to 65lbs and is only $199. Not available till March though.

It seems weird that it says "Side impact tested". All that means to me is that they tested it, not that it worked.... The Britax seats and the Recaro seats have the SIP "wings" much closer to DC's head, to prevent sideways head motion. I'm wondering how this one will do in independent tests.
I'm hoping it does well, because we need more SIP car seats on the market.
