New car--what color?
I'm leasing a new car and trying to decide black or silver. Your vote? I'm leaning towards silver but a clean black car is hot!!
Hmmmm...if only all my decisions were this critical! 
ETA: Getting a BMW 550i...SO really wanted it...Im in charge of the color....I dont really get excited by cars!

I just got a new car over the weekend and opted for the Silver. My last car was black, and black shows dirt so quickly IMO.

Yes a clean black car is gorgeous but keeping it clean is a PIA!!!!!!!! I vote silver. White is also nice and easy to look clean even if its not.

I personally think all cars look best in black. But, if you are the kind of person that doesn't stay on top of it, then go for silver.
I am a happy person when my car is clean, so I get out and wash my car every week!!

Silver - Always looks clean. Doesnt show scratches.
I detail cars, and I can only tell you what a nightmare it is to clean a black car. I usually charge $20 to $25 extra when detailing if a car is black.
Get Silver - you wont regret it.
Black looks good the minute you pull it out of the showroom, and anytime after you wash, glaze and wax it.
Otherwise you can see everything on a black car including scratches, dirt, automated car wash swirls, if you go to a car wash.

Silver. I have a black car and its impossible to keep clean. It only looks good after I get it cleaned and waxed, which is hardly never.

We just got a black truck and it looks AWESOME when it's clean but looks HORRIBLE when its' not...and its not clean more often than it is...

I love black cars, but they show every scratch! If it's a lease, they'll go over the car with a fine toothed comb when you turn it in... I'd go with silver. They tend to look cleaner, too.
I have to say, though, black is my favorite color for cars...

BMW has that nice charcoal gray color - is that an option? I had a BMW in that gray and it looked great - now have a black Mercedes and while it looks great it is a b*tch to keep clean.

I voted silver because black cars get so dirty so fast. I had black cars in MN but I was signed up for unlimited car washes for $30 a month. I haven't seen a car wash here that offers that. It's more like $25 per wash.
