Do they live in NY? do you plan on telling them in person? How bout making them one of those Shutterfly books with just a few pages (it won't cost much) and with captions and pics of the baby leading up to your asking them to be their godparent?

It's a harcover, binded flipbook that you can make using pictures of your child and you can insert captions and edit the pics.. you can do it using as little and as many pictures as you want.. but I think it makes a beautiful keepsake..
