need ideas for my son's 1st bday party.
im thinking of doing a fall festival theme..any suggestions? so far im thinking of doing a little pumpkin patch so kids can pick out their own pumpkin and decorate them. and maybe an apple on a spoon race. any other activities? decor or food ideas? thanks so much

I love this idea. I was thinking to do something similar for DD's birthday. I would use a lot of fall colors to decorate - orange, browns, reds. Also, leaves, acorns, and hay bales.
Love the pumpkin picking & decorating idea. Apple races or maybe bobbing for apples (not sure if's thats frowned upon these days b/c of germs  )?
Also, I love these cookies for a favor idea:

maybe get TP and have kids make their own mummy. Do the TP race and have them run around an adult or a toy dummy
my friend had a party in the fall and got haystacks for seating outside, which was a good idea. saved on renting chairs and adds to the decor

omg love the idea, DD party is 9/25 in restaurant but I can make that part of the favors or have stuff for them to do there with a fall theme!
