Ideas for Entertainment at 1st bday party?

DD will be having her 1 year old friend, her 1 year old cousin and an 18 month old child (son of DH's friend) and possibly her 4 year old cousins (2 of them) at her 1st b-day party. I am going simple and just having it in the backyard.

Any suggestions of things to have out to keep them "busy" ? I was thinking of her little kiddie pool (probably will fit 2 or 3 kids max though) and some toys... but what else?

I am trying to do this on the cheap... so i am not interested in hiring anyone to come for entertainment.... just ideas that I can just do at home or leave out for them... TIA!

for the grownups it will be a BBQ and a few catered things and some beer/wine/soda... nothing crazy... just a bunch of friends and family hanging in the backyard, if you know what i mean.

Do you have a sand/water table? Bubbles, sidewalk chalk. I usually put out all the ride on things that I have too, trike, power wheels, cozy coupe etc

Hey Karen...All the "entertainment" I am having is
the kiddie pool (bring M's swimsuit!) and DD's little ride on cars etc..I think we are getting her a sand and water table for her bday so we'll keep that out too. I'm thinking the kids will keep themselves entertained.

oh yeah, and the tv for the world cup final and beer
