need a pediatrician recommendation (islip to bay shore)
I'm growing more and more dissatisfied with DS's doctor and I really think its time to look for a new one. Does anyone have a ped that they can recommend that they really love? Looking for someone anywhere from East Islip to Bay Shore. TIA

If you are willing to go a minute past Bay Shore into West Islip I would recommend Dr. George on Higbie Lane.
The office is clean, the front office staff is courteous, the nurses are wonderful, the doctors are competent. They have a lot of modern equipment and a variety of services available. I'm very happy with them.

Thank you Jeannie! Yes I would definitely travel to West Islip for a good pediatician. How is it getting an appointment with Dr. George if ds is sick? Do they take you in same day? I had an issue with this with my current ped..and since my ds is only 7 months old that didnt sit well with me. Also how is his bedside manner? I know that may seem like an odd question but I just want myself, dh and ds to feel comfortable...know what I mean?

I use RBK in Islip (across from McDonald's) and am very pleased. They have a Commack office too.
