NPR: eyebrow threading in babylon/islip/bay shore area
does anyone know of a place i can get my eyebrows threaded in the bay shore/islip/babylon area? looking to start getting them threaded again, but havent been able to find a place by me

thanks... i think i knew there was a stand in the mall
i was kind of looking for a beauty salon that does it b/c i've done both & i think they do a better job in a salon

Femina Salon in Babylon does it. It's on Main Street, just a few shops south of Cold Stone (close to the train station).

I haven't been there, but Gorgeous Salon in West Islip does it. They don't have a site, but there's a blurb about them on the W.I. Patch Site

I absolutely HATE the way they do it at the South Shore Mall. The woman who I let do it once, I'm pretty sure we could use her for interrogation torture tactics. She was the worst threader I've ever experienced. I was in tears by the end.
Spa 85 on Main Street in Bay Shore has a great threader. You have to call and make an appt. but she does good work.
I go to Huma at the Tanning Hut in the Bally's shopping center on Sunrise Hwy. She's been the best threader I've found, and her price can't be beat. The only negative thing, sometimes her hours can be flakey, but if she has to cancel, she will always call you.

I know its a little out of the way of where you were looking but I go to Nina's herbal salon on commack road they always do a great job.

theres a place on dpa ( idk name. i just go there lol)
i tried googling it and looks like its called marina beauty. (1864 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729)
6 dollars. she does a great job!!
its the shopping center that they remodeled a few years ago. i think theres a tmobile there.
i also like ninas in commack.

yes. its in the left corner of the shopping center.
