Nanny stabs 4 people on upper west side
Including a 3 and 5 year old. Just heard that both children didn't make it. I am so sickened by the news this week.

I just saw this on the news also
I don't know what the h e l l is going on lately.
Police have arrested a nanny accused of killing two small children in a luxury apartment building on Manhattan's affluent Upper West Side.
The children's mother came home to find the nanny wielding a knife and her two children, aged 3 and 5, dead in a bathtub, police said.
The nanny then stabbed herself, police said.
Two additional people, both adults, also were stabbed, WABC-TV in New York reported.
The victims were all taken to a nearby hospital as police cars stayed at the scene stopping traffic at rush hour.
The mother arrived home around 5:30 p.m., police said. After 911 calls, police and ambulances quickly responded to the building called La Rochelle, according to WABC.

OMG, that poor family and those poor innocent children. It's garbage like this that makes me hate watching the news. It makes me sick to think of the kind of world my DD will grow up in. Prayers for the family

I am so horrified by this story. I was just saying to a friend today that there seems to be so much evil in the world today and then I read this!! Those poor innocent babies - what a horrendous way to die and their poor parents

I am so so so sickened by this story.
Those poor babies. How terrifying... To think that this mother trusted this woman with her children...how freaking awful. May they rest in peace...
Every time i read a story like this involving children i feel like never ever letting my kids leave my side. I don't understand the world today, it seems like there are so many horrifying things like this happening. I can't take it

I just can't. The news today is just to much. I am beyond horrified and devastated for this family. They are in my thoughts and prayers. I cried reading this story tonight.

I can't imagine anything worse than coming home to find your family this way. And that surviving baby will probably be traumatized. Their lives are over. There is no way this mother could recover from this. This is just outside of any realm of understanding.
