Nail colornistas, help please - want to try a darker color
when I get my mani/pedi on Saturday. I always wear pale shades but I want to try something new.
I'm fair, blonde hair and 'cool' colors work best on me, if that matters. What will work?

what will work is you picking whatever dark shade you think is pretty! i think any color goes no matter your skin tone.
maybe you want to go more "red" than dark - that always looks so pretty when its fresh on.
but my fave darks are
wicked, devils food, chocolate kisses.

I LOVE the really dark reds/maroons this time of year. I am also fair w/light hair so those colors really pop against my skin tone. love it!

i love bordeaux and there is a new one called sole mate - but it is practically black - sassy satchel is nice - and so is wicked

I just bought "oriental red" by Sally Hansen (Beyond Perfect).
it's a gorgeous dark red - almost like red wine.
I really wanted to try Sole Mate by Essie, but they were out of it

Sole Mate - it's a deep, deep purple...think grape jelly.
Wicked - really dark red...Chocolate Kisses - rich brown.

I just bought Wicked by Essie.
I went to the store to get Sole Mate, but when I saw it, it was a very dark purple. that's not for me. I'm sticking with the reds & maroons.

I have a color called Wine Velvet that I love ...
it is a really dark red with some shimmer...
The girls at work keep complimenting me on it...

i worked today and everyone was getting dark colors!!! we only use essie and duri so here are a couple of colors that were popular today...
essie: thing high, national velvet, burma ruby, and wicked (both oldies but goodies)
duri: sangria, moulin rouge, and dark roast

I just got a manicure and used Sole Mate. I am not that crazy about it. I think I like Wicked better.
