My September baby decided to be a July baby!***update 7/11 ** update 7/12
I had my team green baby at 31 weeks 6 days.
It's a boy!
Some of you may have saw my post last night. My SIL took me to he hospital last night. My DH stayed home with my five year old who was sleeping.
I knew something wasn't right. They cramps were definitely contractions. They were getting stronger and moved to my back.
Got to admitting at 10:30. Not fun doing paper work.
Got to room and was checked. Contractions every two minutes and I was fully dilated and they could feel the head.
I was flipping out. Yelling and crying that it was too early.
Got the steroid shot for the baby's lungs. Antibiotics. Getting hooked up to IVs. So many people in the room.
I got the epidural. I couldn't take the back pain every minute.
My SIL called my DH to get to the hospital. Had a cousin stay with DD.
I didn't think my husband would make it.
5 or 6 pushes and just as The baby was coming out my husband walked in and they said " it's a boy!" He was able to cut the cord. Baby was crying right away.
NICU team was there and ready.
I did get to hold him for about 15 seconds before they took him away.
Vincenzo was born July 10, 12:02 am,4 lbs and 17 inches.
I am still in shock. I am of course scared and nervous. I haven't seen or heard anything yet.
I have so many emotions going on right now. I kept apologizing to my DH for having the baby so soon.
And now I have to figure out how to juggle a five year old and the NICU.

Congrats!!!!! 4 lbs is a good starting weight so keep that in mind. Hopefully he gets to come home soon!

Congrats! 4lbs is a great weigh. I just had twins at 28w3d and one weighed less than 2lbs. For us it was a 103 day nicu stay. I also have an older son so it gets hard at times but know when you cannot be there those nurses are giving him lots of love!!!! I am sure his stay will be very brief!! Fm if u need to talk

Congrats! What a chaotic experience that must have been and is. Know that he is being taken care of well and you'll figure out how to juggle the rest. Prayers for a short stay in NICU.

WOW, congrats. You are probably in shock bc you thought you had plenty of time to prepare. I guess your little guy had other ideas. 4lbs is a great weight for when he was born. Hoping he does well and gets to go home soon.
