Ordinarilly, I would bring him down with me, but I will be home on leave, probably unemployed actually, and he will be working his ars off for the LIRR program, so I can cut him a break.
So I bought the sofa. Without masuring to make sure it will fit in the door. I realized this on my way back from buying the final sale sofa.

We will have a co sleeper. He offered to have it on his side of the bed and then realized what good is that I can't feed her
He also offered to sleep on the couch on nights he is on call so that the beeper does not wake me or the baby.

He is a SAINT!!! He is actually most looking foward to being able to snuggle with me again at night. Since the beginning that is how we always fell asleep. NOW...I am a tossing mess in bed!

it's great!!! I love the beach-y feel. And your dog 
And btw, the couch will definitely fit based on the loveseat you already have. Since the couch you bought has a low back they can always turn it on it's side to get it through the door... or a window. I went through this last year when I fell in love with a couch 8 inches too large to fit through my living room window (because nothing fits through my door).
