My mom was just a victim of a Home Invasion!
I am soooo devastated!! She is okay but the guy rang her doorbell and, thinking it was just the UPS guy or a neighbor, she opened the door and he shoved his way in. Luckily, she reached for the BRAND NEW alarm keypad that is right near the front entrance and that scared him off. He took nothing but he left her with a fat lip and he broke her glasses right on her face.
PLEASE be careful!! So many of you are SAHMs and we are all expecting packages this time of year. People are desperate during the holiday season and will do things for a quick buck that are so inhuman!!!

so scary- we had a panic button my the front door of my parents house for this reason

OMG! Your poor mother!!!! Thank goodness she's OK. You are so right about being careful- who would THINK something like that could happen in the middle of the day!!!!

I always always always keep the front door (and all doors) completely locked and people tease me, but you never do know!
