My mom was a victim of a Hate crime today!!
My mom went out to her car this morning and it was keyed from top to bottom with anti-Semitic slurs and curses all over it. Then inside they keyed curses into the leather and stole stuff out of it and trashed the inside of her car
She was crying all day!! She feels so violated and angry at someone for doing this.
Police and the Bias Crime Unit were at my parent's house for hours, taking pictures and fingerprints.
The detectives think that they were trying to steal her radio and when they couldn't get it out got frustrated. Then the tore apart the car and found documents with our last name and then it went on from there.
I feel so bad for my mom and so angry at the people that did this

wow im so sorry. just out of curiosity how did tehy know your mom was jewish and to make anti semetic slurs and curses?
Well no matter how they knew thast horrible do they think they will catch them?

We are not Jewish but they assumed so from our last name.
They think it may be connected the destroying of a menorah in Holbrook.

Hows your mom holding up?
I think thats just the worst thing I have heard in a long time.
Im so sorry she had to go something through something like that.
I hope it doesnt get her too down, and she realizes how pathetic and stupid unfortunatly some people truly are. Hate is an awful thing, but I hope she can see past it.
