My happy ending was short-lived, it seems--UPDATED
I think I'm miscarrying.
Last night, I had AF-type cramps. Today, spotting, starting pink and now red and more of it. I've been vomiting, have the chills, and--sorry, TMI-- diarrhea.
This whole process just s*cks. Sorry to be a downer.
My HCG was 5. 
I don't have to go in for any procedures or anything, dr. says it should pass naturally, so that's a blessing. And we can try again right away.

even heavy bleeding doesnt mean a miscarriage... have you called the dr yet?

Please call you doctor and have your beta #'s checked.
I had cramps, spotting and diaherra for 2 weeks and convinced I was miscarrying. Finally went to the doctor b/c DH begged me to (I didn't think I needed to go since I feel like I already knew what was happening.)
They drew blood on a Monday and a Thursday. The beta #'s increased and then an ultrasound showed a heartbeat.
Please don't lose hope until you see a doctor.

First of all, can I just say that logging in this morning and seeing 23 responses brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much, girls.
I went to the dr yesterday am and they drew blood. He's going to call later and I think I have to go in again tomorrow to check if numbers are increasing. But it's like I have my period now, so I really think it's over.
Just so sad.
