my dad's birthday
today is his 64th birthday (or would have been) ... he will be gone 8 years this August.
I was sitting, rocking and feeding my son this morning in his room(my son is named for my father) and as I was feeding him, I said to him "maybe Papa will come visit you today, if you see him today, give him a kiss for me - its his birthday!!" and I swear, she stopped taking his bottle, looked up at the ceiling and started babbling... i could NOT get his attention. I sat him up and he would not take his eyes off the ceiling. I called his name (which he normally responds to, he will be 1 on friday) and he would NOT respond...
maybe it was my dad visiting      
maybe its wishful thinking but ill take it
