Doreen - I am soooo sorry to hear this!!! I know how hard it is to lose a parent - and I totally understand this statement - "How could this be...how is he not here with us anymore."
I felt that so many times after my mom passed away - and still do!
It is so hard to deal with and though time will lessen the pain, I know for me at least, it is still there - it is just not so constant.
And in little things you will feel your dad with you - just remember that he is there.
If you ever need to talk, or vent or just someone to listen, please know I am here for you!

So sorry for your loss. I also lost my father to cancer - he was 60 about a year and a half ago. I understand where you are coming from. Lots of hugs to you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am here if you ever need to talk...I lost my mom at the young age of 50 only 6 mths ago...I will say that each day gets just a teenty tony bit easier. hang in there...the first couple of mths are the toughest,
