The tile is travertine from The Tile Shop in Commack. There's also a store in Westbury I believe. Their website is good and they posts lots of pictures on facebook and instagram too!

I wish I could refer my "contractor" but he isn't licensed. He has a "real" daytime job and does this on the side - he obviously missed his calling in life!
We've never done anything like this before - a job this big and so involved. It was like doing a kitchen over (I imagine). It took a lot of time (3 months) but it was worth it.
Changing the layout made for a lot of work and a much bigger expense. Shopping online for materials was a big help and the customer service at Kohler was top notch!
