Moms of 2 or more- Poll about breast milk production
Did your milk come in on the same day with your 2nd DC?
Just wondering if it will take as long for me this time!

nope with DC#2 it came in on day 2 (i was not BF)
with DC#1 it came in on day 4-5 (i was attempting to BF)

While I ended up not successfully BFing Joey, my milk took awhile to come with him but with Jules the day I got home from the hospital it was already in,so 3 days

With my first, he was born late Thursday night and my milk came in early Sunday morning, so about 2 and a half days. With my second, he was born on a Saturday early afternoon and my milk came in Monday late morning, so it was a little less than 2 full days later.

Both times my milk came in on the day I left the hospital (when DD was 2 days old since I didn't have a c-section).
But HOLY ENGORGEMENT with DD#2. My milk production was INSANE  I was in such immense pain, I thought I was literally splitting at the seams.
I never had supply problems with either girl, but right after DD#2 it was crazy the oversupply I had. My sister told me that traditionally women make something like 30% more milk with 2nd pregnancies...not sure how accurate that is though, but I was definitely severely engorged.

That's very interesting! I had an oversupply the first time
My milk came in on the night of day 4 after my c section. I'm hoping it comes in sooner this time!
