Mommy or Mama? What does your DC call you?
DH hates that Christopher calls me Mama and I will say "Mama" to him. He swears that C3 calls me "Mom" and not Mama.
Does your DC call you Mommy or Mama? Do you have a preference? ANd is anyone else's DH a lunatic about this?

Nothing yet - so I'll take anything  -- he could call me "hey lady" for all I care at this point 
But really, I would prefer Mommy! Or Mom! I'm not down with "Mama" -- but I guess beggers can't be choosers and I'll take what I can get

DD #1 calls me both...she switches on and off...
I actually like mama...DH makes fun of it - says it sounds like the Waltons!!

DS calls me ma ma or ma - but, that is always how i refer to myself. he calls dh da da or daddy interchangebly b/c that is how we refer to him. Come to think of it - i have to try calling myself mommy cause i think i like it better!

DD is only 2 months so she hasnt said anything lol, BUT... DH calls me Mama and my brother calls DD (his goddaughter) Mama also... I have a feeling she'll follow suit and use Mama, but I agree with pp that i'll take whatever I can get!

Funny this was asked, I was going to come on tonight and ask the same question.
Megan started out calling me Mama...then it turned into Mommy...now its MOM! I keep telling her, you're 2!! You're going to be calling me Mom your whole life. So now every time she says it, I just look at her and she goes Mommyyyyyyyy.
Just the other night though, she starts saying Reen, Reen. My name is Noreen and family calls me Reen. I almost died!

She calls me all three, mommy, mama and mom. Mom when she's trying to get my attention. If I don't answer within two moms, then she resorts to my real name "Dawn". She's goofy.

Both started out with Mama (which is pretty normal I think) and now they both call me Mommy. Which I am sure will eventually phase into just Mom.

Sarah calls me Mommy most of the time. Once in a while Mom. When she's feeling especially cuddly she'll call me Mama.
Andy pretty much only uses Mommy. It used to be Mama.
My brother is 30 and still calls my mom Mama, unless she's annoying him and then it's Mom.

Mostly he calls me "Mama" or "Mamum". He very recently started calling me Mommy, too.

Mama & I wouldn't have it any other way.
Both my 2 yr old & almost 12 yr old call me "Mama"..if my DS (older) is talking about me to friends/anyone he'll refer to me as "mom".
My DH refers to me as mom when speaking to the kids.

Up until a week ago, it was Mama. But DH will say "mommy" when referencing me when he's talking to DD (i.e.: "go give this to mommy", etc), so lately she'll say Mommy too. She mixes it up. I love both, but Mama is still adorable to me b/c that's what she said first

She started off with Mama and I loved it, then she started calling me Mommy and I missed Mama but still loved it, now sometimes its Mama, Mommy, Mom, Ma, or even Tammy when she is being a wise guy, lol.

Usually Mama, she tries Mommy but it sounds like Monny. If she really wants something lately it's just EH! EH! EH!.
