Nice out is the operative word with all this rain lately
Yes, we're going to Holtsville Ecology center in Holtsville. It's a great park with walking trails, a snack bar, playground, free petting zoo and a carousel (although I don't think it's in operation). June 4th it is ladies!! Can we make it a little early? I have to get a tooth filled at 2:30
Is 11:30 too early for everyone for a lunchtime picnic in the park?

Im not a suffolk person lol
where is holtsville?? Can one of you FM me directions
I wont know till that thurs if we can go b/c if DH is off we never see him but Ill have his schedule on thurs the 2nd, if he is working we will be there

Wonderful!! I'm so glad I'll get to see Mommy and Emily!
I think we should bring our own lunch. Everyone has different tastes or different dietary needs and it's hard if someone can't make it last minute to plan the whole "who is bringing what" sort of scenario. Although I will bring Soda/Water/fruit drinks/cups for the Mommies & Kiddies. I'm also going to bring munchkins from D.D.'s too.
We'll meet in the playground area - I'll have a spot reserved with a cheezey LIW/LIF homemade banner (unless you can mail me one Ron ) so you all know who you are looking for

as long as DH works, we will be there

Holtsville Ecology Center
From LIE:
LIE East to Exit 61 (Patchogue/Holbrook Road). Take that about two to three miles to Woodside Avenue. Make left onto Woodside Avenue. Not too far down Woodside is the ramp for Buckley Road. Turn onto it and take North. The address for the site is 249 Buckley Road, Holtsville, NY. It will be on your right hand side.
From SS/Sunrise.
Take Southern State East to Sunrise Highway East (27). Follow Sunrise East to Exit 52 (Waverly Avenue). Go about 2 miles to Woodside Avenue, make right. Follow to Buckley, make Left onto Buckley (North). 249 Buckley Road.
