MIL & Mom Vent all in one!
So, I started out tonight frustrated with my MIL because she has to tell me everything I have to do regarding DD. Are you going to feed her her bottle now? Are you going to put her in the stroller? Are you going to put her jacket on?...etc. Very frustrating!! I know I am a new Mom, but I don't think I am THAT bad that you have to tell me everything to do!!
This frustration also stems from the fact that MIL has DD at least 2 days a week, sometimes 3 and this week will have her 4 days straight while I am at work. Frankly, I get upset and jealous that MIL has her more than I do it seems!!
So, that was Part A...
Part B is the fact that I wish my parents could come here more often to see DD. This week, they are coming up for a wedding so I asked them to come up one day earlier to have DD for a day (instead of MIL). My Mom said that neither of them could get off from work. Mind you - my Dad will take off from work for a hangnail, but can't this week!?! Ok whatever....
So, on top of all this, my Mom says that while they are up this weekend they HAVE to spend time with my Aunt and Uncle so can't be with us on Saturday. UM HELLO!!! What about your GRANDDAUGHTER that you complain you never get to spend time with??
Ughhh!!
So this vent is a total ramble om my part and you probably don't get half of what I am saying or why I am upset, but thanks for listening...I need to try to go to bed with a clear head..

I undertsnad completely what your parents do, mine do the same....we see dh's dad far more often and it irks me (without my wanting it too sometimes too!)

Thats why dd is in daycare. So my mom/IL's dont claim her...LOL
I deal better with strangers telling me what to do...LOL
