Mary Kay?
I have a friend that sells it. Has anyone used their products? If so how are they? I don't want to waste my money if it's not worth it.

My friend sells it and I have been to a few of their meetings...
I LOVE the lipstick...I'm still trying out other stuff.
ETA- Another friend of mine uses all the skin care stuff...has for years and swears by it.

I sell Mary Kay. I love their stuff. Its cool to that I sell it cause I get everything at half price 
You should have a pary this way you can try the stuff before you buy. Also im not sure about your friends meetings but our meetings have guests who we ask to come and demo our products!

Not everone is a heavy pressure recruiter or I would never have done it But yes as in any sales situation some can get rather agressive:

See and our Meetings are SO NOT LIKE THAT. i don't even think I ever heard anyone ask a guest once!
We went to someone else meeting once because the restaurant we meet at couldn't accomidate us that night. WE WERE HORRIFIED AT THEIR MEETING. They had like a play and crap  
My director was so EMBARRASED that we went to that!

eta: So Yes IrishTracy Mary Kay is an excellent product and totally worth it.You don't like it you don't buy it-thats the beauty of it too.

That is EXACTLY what I felt like!!!
The first time I had no idea that I was going to try to be recruited...
my friend said it was b/c the director was so close to some milestone that is why she was very aggressive...
the second time I was prepared and laughed about it...
But I do like the make-up!

I have had many a friend selling Mary Kay and I have been to Many a party..i have bought alot of things over the years..Mary Kay is a very good quality product..I use their foundation still..and there is a nighttime skin serum from them that is awesome..it was actualy very good at keeping breakouts at bay..i actually need to get some more of that stuff

it's ok. I used to use some MK stuff. I liked a few of their products, but I don't use any of it anymore.
ETA: I remember using their lipstick and matching lip liner religiously! those 2 products were by far my most favorite.

I think the products are excellent. I was a rep a million years ago and decided it wasn't for me but I really liked the stuff. The skin care line is excellent and they do have high quality cosmetics.
Give it a try..start with something you can compare to what you use regularly.

eye shadow - liked it --
