i used to go to Meridian in Commack... LOVED it there but got tired of traveling.
I've been going to Sivana in St. James for about a year ago and I'm just as happy, sometimes a bit more.

i know 2 people that go to sivana and also love it. im going to give them a try. i have been going to cactus in commack for a really long time but recently i havent been as happy with the cut as i used to be.

I use Jenn (owner) at Jackie Shawn Salon in Northport. L.O.V.E her!
the only problem is she books weeks in advance.

Meridian is on Jericho Tpke in the same shopping center as Jackson's. I used Linda for cuts.
Sivana is on Lake Ave in St. James. I use Eva (she pronounces it Ava). She does my cuts and color. Love her!!

I recently started going to Tru Salon in St. James/Stony brook (off Edgewood) area. I love it there. I use Angelica, she is amazing!

Like others have said -- I love Sivana in St. James (on Lake Ave) and have been going there for years, on and off. I always go to Steven - he is the owner - for my cuts. He is fantastic.
However, he is pricey. It is totally worth it but once we bought a home I had to budget myself... so I have been going to Off Seventh in Centereach. I go to Jill who is excellent, gives me cuts just like Steven which is hard to do because he is so great! And the nice part is it is literally half the price.

I go to a great place in E. Setauket called Finale. I see Summer for my cuts and Deidre for highlights.
I have tried a lot of places, and I am extremly picky, this place is really great. I also think their prices are good. I never wanted to go to a place with seperate people, but now I will never go anywhere else.
