LI-IVF girls (genetic testing related)
How long did it take you to get your results? I got tested over 2 weeks ago, and still haven't gotten any results back. I was just curious, do they only call you if you're a carrier for something? I'm wondering if I should put a call in... actually I could just ask them when I go for my water sono tomorrow, right? TIA!

Ask tomorrow. Genetic testing can take a while. I waited a few weeks for results.

Ok, thanks. I know my nurse told me the day after I got drawn for them that they usually take about a week or so to get back so I figured I'd have them by the end of last week. MY nurse isn't at the office I was drawn at, so I'm not sure who will have my results... I have a nurse in Melville but do all of my monitoring in Port Jeff. They have my chart in Port Jeff but I know my nurse got all of my other labs back b/c she told me the results. Hmm... I guess I'll just ask tomorrow and see what they say.

My doc told me it could take a month. I did mine about 3 weeks ago and I don't have it back yet. I didn't go to LI IVF though..

i Have never asked for my results.. i must be weird.. i always say they will call me if its bad!! :(
So far i have never gotten a phone call on my blood work.. my husband on the other hand gets called all the time due to his hight white blood count..

I was told some of them can take up to 3 weeks.
Dr. B. called me after the first round with the results, but after my water sono they tested for another one and I never got a call...I assume all was well...you can always check with your nurse.

Thanks everyone- they had my results. They were negative, that's why no one told me I guess... I asked them this morning.
