Did you ladies hear about this? NBC refused to allow the NHL to change the time of the game to accommodate for St. Louis' mothers funeral! This is just disgusting to me.
Funeral Changed to Accommodate NBC's Schedule

I don't fault them for this. There is way more at stake than just changing the time fo a game - there are sponsors, flights, hotels, so many other things to consider that affect A LOT of people, not just big money corporations. Plus, the Preakness is at 6:20, it would make no sense to have the game on at the same time. I think changing the time of the funeral was simply easier and more logical. This is definitely a sensationalist blog post.

I have to say the stars are really aligning for the Rangers. St Louis' mother passes away and the team rallied behind him and they came back and one 3 in a row... not to mention he scored a goal on Mother’s Day!
Now they are in the finals with Montreal, where St. Louis mother is being buried, the entire team will be able to attend. Not to mention St Louis can be with his family during this terrible time!
While I am nervous with Montreal because they are on fire and Subban has been playing amazing, there is something special about these Rangers.... they are not just a team, they are a family!!

I couldn't agree more. They are a family and as sad as it is that St Louis' mom passed away, this is what they needed to click and realize they are a family and rally around each other and support each other and can do this! They all have been playing amazing hockey since.
Game 2 tonight...Let's Go Rangers!!!

Yes, they said he's definitely out for tonight and I thought they also said Game 2, but I could be wrong.
They showed the Canadiens practice yesterday and Price only practiced for 5 minutes.

While I get that they're pissed that their goalie is injured, it's clear that CK was tripped. But, they are going to use this as motivation to get themselves into the series.
