Let's try this again...pics of Madison's 1st birthday party....
Thanks to Joenick for wonderful favor pails...they were a big hit!!
Maddie LOVED Elmo, as did all the other kids. So glad I got him to come....he was the highlight of the party!
I had DH pick up the balloons at Party City and while he was there he picked up the fake moustache that you see DD wearing  
Anyway, a great time was had by all but I swear I am not hosting another party until DD turns 16!! So much work and $$!!

What did you put inside the pails? We are having them as our favors as well and I'm not sure what to fill them with (I've got bubbles so far ... that's it! ).

What did you put inside the pails? We are having them as our favors as well and I'm not sure what to fill them with (I've got bubbles so far ... that's it! ).
I got those pails too. I got rakes, etc... at Target. They have a section in the Toy section. Things to play sands with.

for those who asked about what I used to fill the pails....I really went crazy. I went back to Michaels, BabiesRUs, ToysRUs and Party City like 5 times. I was totally out of control...they had to be "perfect".
I got a lot of the Elmo things at Party City...rubber balls, bubbles, notebooks, sticker books, activity books. I got play doh at ToysRUs, although they have smaller ones at Party City. I also bought Elmo washcloths and tied two together with a ribbon for each pail. Also put in animal crackers and goldfish. And I bought an Elmo or Cookie Monster stuffed animal or teether or Elmo Taggie depending on the age of the child. Also put in crayons and a coloring book from Party City. That's all I can think of right now....
