So I saw that the December mommies to be were doing this and thought it sounded like a great idea for us to do too.
I basically copied this from them and will change the dates to fit us. I would organize it as well.

Below is a description of what it's all about.

Everyone gets one person to send a baby gift too. We set an maximum amount ($20 ??) and then you have to mail your gift to get to your partner by a certain date. (about a week before the shower date) We will set a date once we know who wants to participate.You can't open your gift until that date, and then everyone posts pictures of the fun, cute and adorable gifts !!

If you are interested, let me know your real name (just first is fine), if you are having a or or if you are like me and staying

If you want to participate please either post the above information on this post or FM me by October 8th. I will compile a final list and assign everyone a "mail to" person over the next week and let everyone know who their partner is by October 15th.

We can put a $20 limit on the gift (and then of course there will be the shipping charge in addition to the gift) have a mail out no later then November 12th date and set our shower date to open and post pics for November 19th. Is everyone okay with this? Overall it should cost between $25 & $30 at the most. You could always use the flat rate shipping boxes from the post office if it's beneficial (sometimes it's not and shipping first class is cheaper just takes a day or so longer)

After everyone gets a "mail to" name you will need to FM the person who has your name with your home address so they can send you the gift.

I think this gives us plenty of time to get our gifts and mail them out. If anyone thinks the dates should change let me know. I open for all and any suggestions.
