Lactation consultant in Suffolk
Hi everyone-I had my adorable son on Jan 4th at 2:58pm. His name is Kyle Robert and he was 2 weeks early and 8lb, 2oz. He is doing great but I want some breastfeeding reassurance and would like a LC. Any recs for Suffolk-also does insurance cover or is it a straight pay.
Sorry this is short and sweet and no pics but our home computer is packed away till our basement is finished and I am on hubby's work laptap which I shouldn't be on chat rooms with!

I know that there is someone that St. Catherine's recommends. Have you asked your OB?
I didn't deal with her too much - she did come to visit us before we left to see if we had any questions and she seemed really nice. I think that she also runs a lactation group at the hospital. Maybe give them a call? I am sure that they can put you in touch with her.
If you have trouble getting her info, let me know - I will call my OB.

I used Grade Harold. She is in the Hauppauge/Smithtown area. I was happy with her. My insurance did not cover it though. Here is her number: 631-543-9469

My friend is a nurse practitioner and is also a lactation consultant. She is located in Melville but she comes to you. let me know if you want her number.

Good for you! She is very reassuring and helped me when I was a BF'ing mess
And now DD is 11 months old and I am still nursing.
