just needed to get it off my chest(my pity party sorry its long) kinda update

SOOOO... DH works in the auto business.. hes a GM. Great money, but i hate his job. he works 6-7 days a week he leaves the house at 8am and doesnt come home 10pm or later. Now im a SAHM to 22 month old twin boys. I love my kids and i love him.. but sometimes i really HATE him. Today should be his day off but what does he do?? he goes in. Now, fine whateve at this point im 100% used to being both mommy and daddy. But today im sitting here crying typing this Today as hes leaving anthony runs to his room to get his jacket (hes only in a diaper) hes trying to put his jacket on and leave with DH. I have to know pull him off of my DH and try to console him while he leaves.. OMFG!!! this is getting wayyyy to hard. I cant keep doing this (not the first time the boys had a hard time with him leaving) i have to try and settle him down and keep joseph from having a meltdown. I am sooo tired on top of everything. I get the boys out to 3 diff mommy and me's during the week, try to set up play groups and just keep them busy and happy! I really dont know how much more i can do this... really sometimes i wish we had never done this..(had the babies) I love them i really do but sometimes... just sometimes...
ok im gonna go shower to finish my cry (the boys are asleep now. sorry its soo long and all over the place i just needed to get it out! thanks everyone!

soo dh said it would only be a couple hours well.. its now 7pm and hes still not home!!1 IM AM BEYOND PIZZED RIGHT NOW!! omg min by min im getting more angry when he walks in im walking out.. i dont know where im going but im leaving!!! (for a lil bit)

You sound like an amazing Mommy...I'm sorry his work schedule is taking it's toll on you. Maybe tell him you need a spa day or something to rejuvenate! I hope you feel better.

You know I'm in exactly the same boat here.... at least one of my kids is a little older though... It's tough, I know those feelings exactly.

i was a receptionist for a car dealership for a long time and i know how difficult those hours can be. our gms usually had 2 days off a week ( though not consecutively) is there anyway that u can speak to ur dh and lay it on the line tell him that though his job is very important, u need help w/ur job as well - raising the kids. when he gets older he wont say, i wish i spent more time at the dealership, kwim?

I'm sorry you're feeling so down today. maybe you can talk to your DH and let him know how lonely your feeling. It would probably be hard for him to cut back on hours, but maybe you can make it a point to do something with the boys whenever he's off. Take them to a museum, the zoo (when it gets nicer) or even just to the diner for breakfast.

Aeriell, sometimes a good cry is all we've got. Let DH know that you are having a hard time, but don't come off as offensive. Just mention you'd like some alone time and some alone time with him. I'm sorry you're so sad.

I know how your boys feel. My dad was never home when we were younger. He was always working. But, at least he's working and not off doing God knows what.....

dh works all the time too and may be adding more hours soon on top of that. i completely understand how bad it ***** being alone with your dc's ALL the time and them not getting enough daddy time...and u not getting a break.

i dread the day that josh will realize how much dh works.

sorry i don't have any advice but just wanted u to know u are not alone.

I don't know how you do it. My DH travels and can be gone for 5 days straight but he's always home on the weekends to help. Can you talk with him and tell him that the boys are getting to an age where they really need daddy? They need to see him more.
Before you know it they will be in sports, every other daddy will be in the stands cheering/coaching etc. and they will be looking for him They only stay this little once and he is their model for manhood.

I also know you are exhausted from planning the GTG today
