Just had my 3rd baby and Question

Im so tired..lol

My first 2 boys from day 1 were on a every 3 or 4 hour feeding scedule ( bottle) but this lil guy has been on a every TWO hour scedule.. Hes been home 3 days and is drinking about 3 ounces every 2 hours.. do youthink he just needs to adjust?
I thought with the bottle feedings they last a little longer...

That sounds about right.
After about a week or two, DD would drink about 4 or 5 ounces, go go about 3 hours between feedings.

congrats on boy # 3, and welcome to the mommy of 3boys club!

kids are all so different, i think it varies depending on growth spurts, etc. My son is hungrier quicker sometimes too.

DS will be 2 wks old tomorrow. Right now he is eating 3 oz. at a feeding, about 2-3 hours apart. BUT I might add he is ALL over the place with his feeding schedule right now -- we actually just increased him to 3 oz a feeding this past weekend and sometimes that doesn't do it for him -- he's still hungry. It'll wind up that he'll fuss and cry and want another ounce or so less than 1 hour later Then he'll want his 3 oz bottle a few hour after that (some days I feel like I feed him all day long!)

I am thinking of calling the ped. and asking to increase him to 4 oz a bottle, to see if that satisfies him and spaces out the feedings a bit better
