IUI questions-updated
I see you guys talking about IUI's with injectibles, what's the difference of that vs the letrozole/ovidrel I took?
Update: When I saw Dr. B on wed he decided to have me to the letrozole along with Follistim, ovidrel and then progesterone after the IUI's. Thanks for your help!

Clomid did nothing for me
Injectables with ovidrel always gave me 4+ mature follies and no hot flashes

I think when people talk about "injectables" they talk about the stimulation of follicle development. Injectables stimulate more follicles in ppl who do not respond well to Clomid (or Letrazole) (but have a higher rate of multiples and are more $$$).
If you are doing oral medications, you can stimulate "release" of a mature follicle by using Ovidrel.
Often, ppl start on Clomid... do a higher dose... and move on to injectables.

Has anyone done Gonal F, Ganirelex, and Menopur for an IUI? I am on my second IUI. Hope it works this time.

Injectibles should give you more follies than oral meds. (That's my understanding). The opposite happened with me actually, but I was on a really low dose of GonalF.

I did Gonal F, Ganirelix and Ovidrel. Injectables you do throughout the entire IUI cycle. You don't swallow meds unfortunately.
