It's official....
I'm having a chemical pregnancy.  I didn't think I could be more heartbroken than I was the other day- boy was I wrong.  I can barely catch my breath and I really don't feel like I'm going to be ok. 
Why is this happening? Why are so many awful people out there entitled to babies with no strings attached, yet we get to endure heartache after heartache and invest tons of $$$, time, gas, and energy for just the chance?? 
My dr. didn't even call me- he had his nurse do it. They threw me off for a minute- I thought things were still doubling when I heard her voice- boy was I wrong. The beta went from 20.5 up to 25 so now I can 'officially' stop my meds. I thought they told me to come back 'this monday' but then I wrote down the 25th also so I'm totally confused. They didn't call me until the office was almost closed and when I called back a few mins later I got the emergency answering service- so now I have to wait for tomorrow...
Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers.. I wish I had better news.

I am SO sorry I don't have the answers as to why this is happening to any of us  Hopefully someday when we are holding our babies it will be a distant memory

Im sorry hun...and I know you probably dont want to hear this now, but it was probably better that it stopped here so you can move on rather than going through torture for the next week or two.
My first IVF the same thing happened to me, and it sucked, but I was happy to have it over and more on to FET.
Good luck and I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Thank you so much everyone.
My dad just came out 2 hours from work (my mom told him) and broke down crying all over me (I think I've seen him cry maybe 3 times in my lifetime- all at funerals and then on the day of our wedding as he 'gave me away'). He told me how sorry he was and that it would be ok and just held me..... it still amazes me how I can feel so small so quickly when he's around, and how maybe just maybe he's right and that things might be ok. 
My DH is handling this better than I am (in front of me at least) - I could see him getting weaker as my mom and dad asked him how he was doing. He's trying so hard to be strong, though I know this is hurting him, even though his outlook on things are much different than mine.

Shannon, I'm so sorry, I know how difficult this is. I do agree with Jen. Take whatever time you need to grieve this before moving on to your next cycle.
