It was WAY too early but my twins are here
Just wanted to let you know the babies arrived on Tues June 29 (they share with their bday with their aunt!) just shy of 31 weeks. It was completely unexpected as we had just gotten home from our dr apt and I wasn't in labor while there. I stated having contractions around 5:30 and when I got to the hospital I was fully dilated so they preformed an emergency C-section. The next day my doctors came to see me and said they were more than a little shocked when I came in as they thought I had several weeks to go.
Mitchell born at 8:57 pm 2lb 10oz
Gregory born at 9:01 pm 2lb 8 oz
They are extremely small but breathing on there own (I had the steroid shots 4 weeks ago). We're taking things day by day and we're by far out of the woods. We don't have any pictures at this time as unfortunately they are connected to endless tubes and wires. We hope to be able bring them home in the next 4-7 weeks though its really too soon to tell.
Unfortunately due to some complications I am still in the hospital and hope to be dishcarged in a few more days.

Congratulations!! Our good friend just celebrated the 1st birthday of her twins - born at 25 weeks, It's amazing how far the medical world has come for premies!

Congrats on the birth of the twins!
My cousin delivered twins a year and half ago and they were 8 weeks premature- they are now healthy and happy 18 month olds and you would never know that one had been less than 2 pounds and the other had only been 3 pounds
I will definitely keep your boys in my prayers
