It finally happened- you can create a registry for your birthday, Xmas, etc!
Check out Fortunoff- they'll let you set up a BIRTHDAY registry, holiday registry, graduation registry, or a registry for just about any old thing! 
Choose your event type!!

I'm really surprised that Toys R Us doesn't have a registry for kids. Babies R Us does for babies, but toddlers and tweens are even more particular about what they want. It would be great if more stores had a b-day/christmas registry. People are always asking "What do you want for your b-day", or "What does DW/DC want/need?" When I do get an idea, I never have a convenient place to write it down. It would be much easier to say "Oh, I'm registered at Sears".

Didn't they used to have that at Toys R Us? I remember hearing about kids making registries for their bday parties.

I think they have a wishlist but thats probably only good online.

While I think it was inevitable, I just don't like the idea. I would not create a registry for my bday or even Christmas. It is one thing for kids to make a Wish List for Santa or to register for a wedding when it is a lot of extended family & friends, I just think it is wrong beyond that.

Yes, they did have a kids registry because my niece registered for her birthday last year and I bought a few things from her registry. I just went to the Toys R Us website and it's no longer there. I don't know what happened.

I see for showers and weddings, but not for yearly occurances. At least not in my family. Plus, in all honesty, I'm at the point in my life where if I want something, I'm going to go out and get it.
