Totally an age related phase, and FYI...my heart melted reading this. 
OP -- Relish it now. When she's fifteen it'll be "I hate you!" and she'll be asking you to drop her off two blocks from the movie theater and pretend you don't know her!

Is this normal -
Just to add here are plenty of times where she likes to also tell me she doesn't love me, she loves X person. She loves to see my reaction or for me to pretend cry. It is mostly super cute and I know the day will come where she rolls her eyes at me and thinks I am a gigantic idiot.

Lol yeah to the prior poster who was upset, we totally go through that too! When she wants to be difficult and get a rise out of me she'll say "no I don't!" and I know what she's doing but it gets me upset too. I just know it's her way of expressing she's unhappy about something so I don't let it get to me, I know she loves me lol.

Well yesterday I told my almost three year old I loved him and his reply was "I don't love you" . Irrational but I cried for like 10 minutes straight. Have no idea why he said that other then to get a reaction from me. So right now I love you 500xs a day sounds great ??
Aww that's so hard.  My DS did this a few times and it KILLED me. So upsetting. I found that the more I reacted to it, the more he would do it. He also just likes to argue so if I say "the sky is blue" his answer will be "the sky is NOT blue" just to see how I react. So as hard as it was, I just ignored him and now he hasn't said it in months. And I make a HUGE stink when he tells me how much he loves me, so that he gets a big reaction from positive words.
Yes I'm sure this was the reason, mostly to see my reaction. Of course I did the wrong thing and started bawling. Thats what 9 months pregnant does to you
