Is it normal for a 5 mth old to eat every 3 hrs?
seriously....she was every 2 1/2 hours when feeding on demand as a newborn and up to 4 months about.
Now....it seems like she still eats every 2 1/2 to as much as 4 hrs in between!
Is she not eating ENOUGH at each feeding?

You can't overfeed a baby.. I was always told you feed them when they are hungry..
I f she is gaining weight at her visits then you have nothing to worry about...

I think its normal, mine still want to eat every 3-4 hours. Now I just give them solids in between their bottles.

I do the same thing except for breakfast - I give her a bottle and cereal - Just because she takes a long morning nap.

My son was eating every 3 hrs until he turned 6 mos old. At 6 mos, I switched from 5 to 4 bottles a day every 4 hrs.

Kevin form day 1 was pretty much an every three hours eater on schedule. My doctor actually recommed I push that to 4 but he could never do it. I never fed on demand (not BF baby - so that may be a difference). Even now at 16 months - he still is hungry pretty much every 3 hours unless he is really into something he is playing with or outside.
