Is everyone getting their infant a halloween costume?
I had not thought of getting 6m old DS a halloween costume at all until this LIF board mentioned it.
Do you just buy the costume to take pictures in it?

My son was 4 months for his first Halloween. He was in his costume and we brought him to see our families.

DH is a Halloween fanatic so yes, we bought DS a monkey costume. DS will be 7 mos at Halloween.
I figure he'll be awake when we answer the door to trick-or-treaters, etc. so why not dress him up.
We didn't spend a lot - we bought it at Carters on sale.

DS will but almost 11 months on Halloween. I got him a costume, it only cost me $22. I plan to take him trick or treating with my neice (8) and nephew (12) in their apt complex. He won't get any candy, it just for fun.

What's better than torturing your child in a big, annoying costume?
This was DH's favorite!
In the end, I figured a bib and some horns did the trick. He was only 2 months old.
It's all up to you!!!

DD will be 4 months old and I got her a onesie pumpkin outfit. Just for pics and maybe a few times when answering the door on Halloween.

b/c of overzealous gmas, ds has 4 outfits.  we'll dress him up, take some pics, and maybe go trick or treating w/ oue niece and nephews.

My girlfriend gave me her daughter butterfly custom. I will be taking pics of her in it and if it doesn't bother her to be in it I'm going with my other girlfriend and her two boys trick or treating. I love halloween.

DS was 4 months for his 1st Halloween.
I got him a costume. It was a one piece Tigger outfit. It was not bulky.
It was so cute! I don't regret it. I am glad I did not skip it.

DD was 2 months. She didn't mind the little kitty outfit at all. I took pics and some family came to see her. I held her when I answered the door.
Let me know if you are interested in the costume. It's 0-3 months.

Oh it's fun!!
My DS was 6 months old his first Halloween and we dressed him up in a Little Devil sweatsuit from BRU. THey have a lot of stuff like that if you don't want to go all out.

Kaydyn was 9 months around Halloween. We got her a Tigger costume because we planned on going around my mom's neighborhood for a little bit. We also go upstate in the beg of Oct and they have a huge Halloween party so we needed a costumer for that as well.

i'm not... well, not really!
i figured an expensive costume would be a waste. it's not like she can go trick or treating. ;) However, I did see a really cute sleeper at BRU that's orange with a jack o' lantern face on it on the chest. it has a hood with a stem on it, and the collar looks like green leaves. it was $8. cheap, adorable and practical. It will be her outfit for the day that looks like a costume. it will also look cute throughout the fall.

DD will definitely be getting a costume. She will be almost 6 months old on Halloween. She will be going to a parade and trick or treating with her babysitter and we will take lots of pics.

DS will be almost 2 months. DH LOVES Halloween so we have to dress Logan up - but I'm not sure that we will buy a costume. We probably will just be borrowing something from my SIL. A dragon, or a bat or a pea pod. We'll see. I figure we may just take him out to the neighbors houses just to say hi.
