Introducing solids and formula at the same time? (going from ebf to adding a formula feeding)
Has anyone done this at the same time? How did your DC react? I am afraid it will be too much of an adjustment on DS's tummy to start different cereals, veggies etc while weaning him from BM to formula?

I'm in the process of weaning DD from BM to formula, and it's not going too well. I wanted to start cereal this week, but I think I may wait - she is already very gassy from the change, and her poops aren't regular (the ped said it could take a few weeks for her to "regulate" since we are gradually switching over).

I did this & he's doing well. Actually, he likes to try anything that's new & no stomach or poop problems yet

thanks ladies for the input. anyone have any tips on how to make this transition smoother? i wish i would have thought of this earlier b/c ds is 6 mos...any point i try to wean from here on out will have to be done at the same time as introducing a solid...
