Introducing Luca Anthony!- now with pics
I'm back and I have a baby!!! 
I went into the hospital Wednesday afternoon and was having small contractions on my own. Instead of putting me on Cervidil my DR. did a balloon catheder- I actually HIGHLY reccomend asking your DR. about it if you're going to be induced. Cervidil may or may not get you to dilate and soften, the catheder got me to 4CM overnight.
The DR. broke my water at 8am Thursday. By 11am I was 5CM and got the epidural- which for the record wasn't too bad. The DR. didn't check me again until 2:30 and I was expecting to be maybe 6-7CM, but I was fully dilated and ready to push!
They had me do a trial push and although I was pushing right I could't feel too much because of the epi. Unfortunately the baby's heartrate dropped dramatically when I pushed. They got his rate back up and told me there was probably a problem with the umbilical cord being wrapped around something. They said we'd try again and then his heartrate stayed level. I pushed for about an hour and then I started fading, but he was already pretty far down. So they helped me out with the vacuum extractor and he came out on the next contraction.
It turned out that the cord was wrapped around his little neck and he was in a little bit of shock, but after a few seconds he was fine. He was so pale, but he wasn't blue and then he started crying and I was relieved.
He weighed in at 7lbs11oz and 20in. We are so completely in love with our little bundle. He's such the perfect mix of me and DH. We were cracking up because his feet look just like mine.

Glad to hear your induction went well Nicole..it sounds like a pretty good labor & delivery experience overall, and I hope that your experience at WP Hospital was as good as mine 
Now WHERE are those PICS of little Luca
 we NEED to see this long awaited little man

OMG, Luca is truly sooo adorable!!!!!!!! You look great Nicole and everyone looks so happy to meet little Luca (finally!) He is such a sweetie, enjoy him!
