Interesting facts and numbers
So if I’m reading this correctly…
31 vaccinated people died of Covid thru June 28. Since July 12 that number jumped to 49. So from June 28-July 12 18 vaccinated people died of Covid. June 28-July 12 a total of 52 people died of Covid in all. 35% of Covid deaths were fully vaccinated individuals. How come the news seems to report that 99% of Covid deaths are unvaccinated? This is NJ, somewhat local. Why are we pushing a vaccine that obviously doesn’t prevent death on our CHILDREN?

There have been 49 fully vaccinated people in New Jersey who have died from the coronavirus through July 12, state health officials told NJ Advance Media on Wednesday.
More than half of those who died had at least one underlying medical condition, according to Donna Leusner, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Health.
The number of deaths has increased since Gov. Phil Murphy announced on Monday that there had been 31 fully vaccinated people who died of COVID through June 28. The latest number includes cases through July 12, the latest data available, Leusner said.

At this point, it's VERY hard to continue to argue the point that the vaccine doesn't matter or isn't effective. When almost all of the deaths attributable to COVID (no matter the number) are from those individuals who are NOT vaccinated it says something about the importance of this vaccine.
Age old argument on here of course, everyone is free to make the best choice for themselves
BUT for anyone to post some data on a negligible number of vaccinated individuals who died from COVID and who all seem to have some pretty severe underlying health issues is silly. It certainly doesn't make the case that getting the vaccine doesn't matter.

Nobody is forcing anything on you, we've ALL been free to make our choice. If you are confident in YOUR decision then why do you start threads like this where you then feel it necessary to constantly defend your position? If you don't want to always feel like you're on the defensive all the time than just go about your life, confident in your decision and keep it to yourself.
These vaccine threads are so unproductive. It's almost the end of July, everyone has made their decision one way or the other and NO matter how many articles come out, threads that are started or arguments that are had on here NOBODY is changing their stance. Those who got the vaccine will argue its merits until they are blue in the face and those that don't want it will argue the reasons why it's bad for you until they are blue in the face. It's been a game of round robin now for months and it's so tiresome.

Nobody is forcing anything on you, we've ALL been free to make our choice. If you are confident in YOUR decision then why do you start threads like this where you then feel it necessary to constantly defend your position? If you don't want to always feel like you're on the defensive all the time than just go about your life, confident in your decision and keep it to yourself.
These vaccine threads are so unproductive. It's almost the end of July, everyone has made their decision one way or the other and NO matter how many articles come out, threads that are started or arguments that are had on here NOBODY is changing their stance. So either ignore these threads or give facts. Like how many of ones who have gotten sick got it from vaccinated or unvaccinated people. Have you seen those stats? If so please share.

So, nearly double the number of unvaccinated people died vs those who are vaccinated, right? Or, more precisely 65% of those who died were unvaccianted and 35% were.

For the month of May, 150 deaths out of 17,850 total were fully vaccinated. Less than 1%. For hospitalizations, less than 0.1% were vaccinated.

You can choose to sit back silently while mandates are slowly being put in place for a vaccine that isn’t doing what it’s supposed to. Many jobs are now requiring it. Just wait till it trickles down to children. These are facts that people need to see.

35% of people who took a vaccine that promised to keep them out of the hospital or dying…..died. I didn’t even look up the amount of vaccinated that are hospitalized. Those who are unvaccinated know the risk. But those who are taking it and are not as protected as they think should be outraged. I’m outraged for my parents! They worry if they are protected. They still don’t know going into cold and flu season if they are protected. Why doesn’t any force these manufacturers for answers?!?!

So the takeaway from this is that healthy vaccinated people without severe underlying issues aren't dying from COVID. Therefore, it's safe to assume that the vaccine is doing as promised, keeping MOST people alive should they get sick with COVID.
As a reminder, the vaccine was NEVER touted as being 100% effective but as mentioned above, MORE than 99% of the COVID deaths reported in June were from UNVACCINATED individuals.
I left that out as I’m trying to see how many unvaccinated deaths also had pre existing conditions as well. This “vaccine” is supposed to help those at risk. 35% of at risk people died.
This vaccine was never made to stop the spread. It was made to help those at risks. I’m sick of turning on the tv and hearing kids should be vaccinated. Healthy people should be vaccinated. Until you show me facts that vaccinated people can’t spread Covid I won’t even consider it for my children. Another thread talked about cherry picking…..well the news will never tell you 35% of vaccinated people died….the ones who the vaccine was intended for.
Exactly. I have asked a few times here and no one answers. How do we know they the vaccinated who got sick didn’t get it from a vaccinated person?
That’s what I’m waiting for. I’ve said from the beginning that I wouldn’t consider the vaccine for myself unless it’s shown that I definitely can’t spread it once vaccinated. Otherwise I feel that it’s not necessary for *me*. I’m an adult and I’ll choose my poison. Don’t force it on me and make me feel like a piece of $hit for not getting it.
Nobody is forcing anything on you, we've ALL been free to make our choice. If you are confident in YOUR decision then why do you start threads like this where you then feel it necessary to constantly defend your position? If you don't want to always feel like you're on the defensive all the time than just go about your life, confident in your decision and keep it to yourself.
These vaccine threads are so unproductive. It's almost the end of July, everyone has made their decision one way or the other and NO matter how many articles come out, threads that are started or arguments that are had on here NOBODY is changing their stance. Those who got the vaccine will argue its merits until they are blue in the face and those that don't want it will argue the reasons why it's bad for you until they are blue in the face. It's been a game of round robin now for months and it's so tiresome.
You can choose to sit back silently while mandates are slowly being put in place for a vaccine that isn’t doing what it’s supposed to. Many jobs are now requiring it. Just wait till it trickles down to children. These are facts that people need to see.
The vaccine is doing exactly what it's suppose to, that's an indisputable fact.

So, nearly double the number of unvaccinated people died vs those who are vaccinated, right? Or, more precisely 65% of those who died were unvaccianted and 35% were.
35% of people who took a vaccine that promised to keep them out of the hospital or dying…..died. I didn’t even look up the amount of vaccinated that are hospitalized. Those who are unvaccinated know the risk. But those who are taking it and are not as protected as they think should be outraged. I’m outraged for my parents! They worry if they are protected. They still don’t know going into cold and flu season if they are protected. Why doesn’t any force these manufacturers for answers?!?!
Why would anyone be outraged?? The vaccine was NEVER touted as 100% effectiveness and even being vaccinated people understand there is still some risk of getting sick or dying albeit small. Obviously having severe underlying health issues will increase the odds of dying despite being vaccinated.

Interesting facts and numbers
Right now i think this vaccine is like playing Russian Roulette. My town just opened up a vaccine drive for 12 and older. That was a hard pass. My DH finds it suspicious that this "delta" variant came out and the best time to start scaring people for Fall and Winter so they can rush and get vaccines since the number of vaccinated people is not as large as anticipated. My DH is a conspiracy theorist but it does make you go hmm.

No it doesn't. Not at all. Taking your chances with getting covid is like playing Russian roulette. Yes, you could be fine, or you could be dead, or have KNOWN lifelong effects from it. What are the KNOWN (fact based) lifelong effects from the vaccine?

That number is so high because those vaccinated who died had underlying medical conditions. The percentage of the general population who are vaccinated and dying from COVID are MUCH lower.

You can't say that about this vaccine either. Hasn't been out long enough to know how years later it effects your health. And since people, even young people are getting bad side effects or even death from the vaccine then it is most definitely a crap shoot.

Age also continues to be a factor here. Approximately 61% of those 49 people were over 80:
"Donna Leusner, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Health, told the news outlet that all 49 people who died were over 50 years old. Thirty were over 80 years old, 13 people were between 65 and 79 years old, and six were between 50 and 64 years old."

All of the people who died in your example that were vaccinated from New Jersey we’re over the age of 50. Most of them had preexisting conditions including heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Of the people who passed most were over age 80. All of them had presenting conditions, only six of the pre existing conditions were listed as other. If you are going to post facts, post all of the facts.
