Im so sad...my cousin is going to lose her baby (Update #2)
She finally got her amnio test results and they she said they "news wasn't good" and that they would be inducing labor monday. She is 16 weeks. They told me they suspected an extra chromosome somewhere in the baby. Her amnio showed the bay has an extra 13, 18 and 21 chromosome. Anyone know what the name of that is??
She lost a pregnancy in February at 10 weeks and now this one. I feel so bad for her. They really want to baby.
 I don't know what to do for her.
UPDATE:
She said the test results show that the baby has "Triploidy". It has 3 of each chromosome. She has to deliver the baby monday, they said it is too much of a risk to let me pregnancy continue. I feel so bad for her and i can't even go see her because im so close to delivering and the doc doesn't want me leaving.
UPDATE #2:
I want to thank all of you for the prayers you gave and your thoughts. My cousin was induced yesterday and had a little boy last night stillborn. He weighed 2 ounces and measured at 14 weeks 2 days, they got to spend some time with him by recommendation of the doctor to help the healing process. They are going to take some time with each other and put off trying again until next year since this is their 2nd loss, they just can't take much more.

I just did some quick research and having an extra 21 chromosome is Down Syndrome and having an extra 13 and 18 is severe mental retardation and a problem with nearly every organ.
OMG i'm so sorry. I shouldn't have looked that up

unfortunately that's right (from what I was reading) Most babies (if they even make it to full term) die shortly after birth.
I'm praying for your cousin

OMG! Poor girl. I can't imagine how hard this is. It is one thing to lose a pregnancy, but this is much worse.
