I am so sorry! I know this is a very scary ordeal to begin with after all you have been through-- I can't even imagine! So many prayers for you and your little one. You are one strong mama! Take it day by day!

I'm so very sorry for your loss.
I HATE days like this. I'm angry and upset for you BUT I am also so very glad that Baby B is doing well. You did not need this that is for sure. However, please hang onto your positivity...somehow. I know it's hard. What we know right now is that Baby B is STRONG!! You are also in great hands with Kofinas. I will continue praying for you.

Gosh can't we just have normal and boring, with everything going right!!!!!! I'm so sorry about baby A. It must be devastating. I'm rooting for Baby B, he's strong. Take it one day at a time.

Thanks everyone, I can't even say how much I appreciate everyone's kind words, thoughts, prayers, etc. Today was a true example like so many others of why no one sono can be taken for granted.
As far as being on rest goes... YES I do have a kindle! My post count will probably go up another 250 posts, unless I decide to go to movie/sleep route. It's times like these I wish I knew how to knit.
One positive of being off my feet, my dh cooked me dinner tonight. I'm TRYING to remain positive here and I know how fortunate we are having baby b doing so well. I just wish I didn't have that massive worry, even deeper than before, that something could go wrong. Today was a blast from the past I was hoping to never revisit. We have to take baby b home this summer...... We really sort of HAVE to. This is getting just ridiculous already.

As hard as it is, I would try to keep your mind occupied with anything and everything other than the pregnancy. I found for me the less I obsessed over the bed rest and all of the issues I had, the better I ended up feeling. I would go on you tube and watch learn to knit videos. Have someone get you thick needles and some chunky yarn. If they can start it for you so you do the rest, you can make a scarf to start. The reason I suggest large needles and thick yarn is that it will go faster and it is easier to make progress.
I don't know if you have Verizon Fios but Showtime is free this weekend.
Have you thought about learning a new language? Origami? Are you a crafter?

These ideas are great, thanks! Right now it's actually more modified bed rest but I'm being VERY conservative because of how nervous I am and if something were to happen, i wouldn't want to have it hanging over my head that there's more I could have done.
I'll have to check out knitting videos, that sounds like a good idea (Except that I would probably be making a baby hat or something and obviously trying to think about something else here! maybe make myself some booties)
I'm good with my hands, but I'm like the anti-talent when it comes to learning a new language. I tried to learn 3 different ones over the years...... Maybe it's my approach. Maybe I need that Rosetta Stone dvd  All I know is it's a blessing I know English  (it's my only language)

Jackie I'm so incredibly sorry for the loss of baby A and all the emotions you are experiencing this right now. Please stay strong, it's great to hear baby B is doing so wonderfully. I'm praying for you and hoping everything from here on out is smooth sailing and in the meanwhile, you are as distracted and as positive as possible
Just edited to add : I saw pp had some good suggestions of things to do while your on bed rest to keep your mind from going crazy-- I'm going to add try to find a series on netflix or dvd that you've never seen before that you can maybe get into and hopefully that'll pass some time till next week. Also surround yourself with good family and friends especially ones who are not only understanding but who are good with distraction. Wish I could help more. stay strong!

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of baby A, but I am also thrilled with the news that baby b is progressing beautifully. I lost a twin early on as well and it was such an odd feeling to mourn one but be a thankful my dd survived. I had a hematoma as well, I bled off and on for 22 weeks. When I would have a bleed I would be put on bed rest as well, modified but when I put myself on strict bed rest I found that the bleeding stopped quicker. I know it's hard to try and relax especially after all you have been through, I think it's a great idea to try and immerse yourself in a new hobby. I'm praying for you!

When I was on bed rest I helped my friend plan her wedding. It was a great way to get my mind off of things. Ok, so no languages. Can you plan a vacation for someone. Do you need to make any catch up phone calls? Have a drawer to organize that can be put next to you? I would ask if left side bed rest is beneficial for you. It was annoying, but apparently it helps the blood flow to the baby better than laying on your back or tummy. Also Reddit.com - it will fill your time. There are threads about anything and everything you could imagine.
