I'm a mommy now! Can I join you ladies?
Hey everyone!
I've posted a few times as a mommy-to-be, but I wanted to introduce myself again. I'm Alex, and on October 12th I became a mommy to a beautiful boy who we named Jonah Hudson.
He is just over a week old now, and the dust is starting to settle a bit. I am breastfeeding, so the sleep deprivation is setting in, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! Overall I adore being a mom so far - I am in love...

Congrats on the birth of Jonah! (love that name) It takes a while for the sleep deprivation to fade....but you'll get used to it!

Congrats on your beautiful son. The sleep deprivation goes away (by 7-8 weeks...you can do it!) Hang in there...try to sleep when he does. Also...do whatever you can to change him w/ only a nightlight; don't talk to him in the middle of the night (hopefully he'll go right back off again).
