If you've renovated your kitchen, what cabinet manufacturer did you use and are you happy with them?
I'm in kitchen hell and I'm just curious who everyone used for cabinets and what your experience was like.

I don't think they are in any local/chain stores.
My FIL is a kitchen designer and sells their cabinets exclusively.
ETA: Happy. If I had it to do all over again, I would have only changed one cabinet to have a custom spice rack. I love my pull out, custom pantry

we are going wtih belowwholesalecabinets.com
however, i am going to look at IKEA maybe tonight to see if there is anything better priced... even though these cabinets are all wood construction and cheaper than HD by miles... 3000.00 VS 5700.00

We got ours from Consumers and we got Kraftmaid. We had no problems at all 100% happy

Our house was a new construction, but the cabinets are Wellborn and they are from Kitchen Masters in Bohemia.
Coudn't be happier with the look and the quality.

Kraftmaid. They have a lifetime warranty. They will come to the house and fix anything and or replace. We had an issue when they were delivered and they sent someone over immediately and whatever needed to be replaced was done so within a week.
We ordered ours through Consumers (Commack) and had a great experience with them.

Timberlake by American Woodcraft.
Got it thru consumers, a little better quality (supposedly) than the American Woodcraft cabinets from HD. Plywood as opposed to pressboard.
I like the cabinets, I like the price, I did not like consumers one bit.

ITA! IKEA was AWESOME though the entire process. The only part that we hated was driving into Hicksville if we needed something.

our cabinets are kraftmaid. they're 20 years old ( we bought our house from DHs parents, and they had them put in in like 1989).
They've actually held up so well, that when we redo the rest of the kitchen, we plan to keep the cabinets. They still look great, nice style.... the only thing we're noticing is that the hinges are getting old ( which can happen after 20 years of opening and closing them LOL, but its an easy fix) based on how well they've held up over time, i would totally recommend them!

Danielle and I also have no idea where to get cabinets from. We know we want Maple cabinets....but we dont want to spend a lot of money. A contractor that I interviewed to do my kitchen said to go to Lowes in Hicksville and order our cabinets there. He told us to talk to a certain person.
We were originally going to Sunrise Kitchens and Baths and then I found out the cabinets are Oak, and that we would have the grainy look. We have that now and do not want that look.
Help us....

they deal with contractors mainly, they are 1/2 the price of big overhead places like HD and lowes. the selection is that many, but we found stuff we liked. we had a certain glaze in mind and they have that.
we hope to order by the 14th of feb so we will know better then about the quality........

Scott- what is your budget for cabinets and how many feet of cabinets do you need- if you want, I'll have my dad work you up a quote that includes installation if you want to go the custom route. You may be surprised as to how affordable they are.
