if you work, who takes you kids to school?
I have been posting a lot teh last few days about areas we are looking at and if they have before and after school and some do some dont. If you have to leave early who takes you kid to and from school? TIA

My husband is a SAHD and drives our kids to school. Last year they took the bus.
When they were in daycare/pre-k they could come as early as 8:30 and I took them before work. My girlfriend is a teacher and couldn't get her daughter to school - so I took her with my son and she picked them up in the afternoon.
I have a neighbor/mother that I am friendly with who will get the boys out to school for me if I need some help.
If all else fails you may have to ask your job (or your husband ask his) to allow some flexibility. While Rob was in school I had to leave early every day to get my sons from After Care.

Hi, I'm trying to work out the same thing right now & also get different days (not Tues/Thurs)...not easy.
My MIL will probably pick her up/drop her off....as I can't depend on DH who usually works nights; but his hours change every 3 months.

I am a SAHM and I put 2 of my neighbors kids on the bus in the morning. Do you have a neighbor that could do that for you? My neighbors kids get to my house at 8am and the bus comes at 845.

My dd walks to school now as she is in m/s and my son takes the bus. Either myself or my dh puts my son on the bus. I go to work about 45 mins. later.

My job allows flexibility so I go into work a little late. My sister picks her up. (shes in pre-k only a couple of days a week right now and I only work PT)

I work 4 days a week, I take Noah to school every morning, but I have a childminder (babysitter) who picks him up Tuesday through Friday. She takes him to her house, they have lunch, they go to playgroups or they shop or play at home, at around 3.30 she picks up another 4-5 kids from school and they all play together until picking up time at about 6 pm.
She is a godsend, she isn't perfect, but he loves her and the situation works well!
