outfit did you bring her / him home in?

I am due in a few weeks and I have a short sleeve onesie, matching pants (with feet), a hat and a receiving blanket. Good?

That sounds good to me. Totally overdressed him, don't know what I was thinking. I put him in a onesie, with a long sleeved shirt, and long pants with socks and hat! Poor child was born at the end of June. Looking back I actually find it pretty comical.

DS came home 9/8/08 and it was 85 degrees out

i had him in a onesie, a long-sleeved light cotton jacket and cotton pants. i knew we were going from an air-conditioned car to an air-conditioned house so i dressed for that, not the weather outside.

we put a blanket over him since we had it, but it wasn't needed at all

DD was born in August. I found a little Wendy Bellisomo outfit with bloomers and a short sleeve cotton blouse, and little socks.

we brought her home in a onesie and a blanket on top of her - that's it. (we also came home at night though).

DD was born in late August. Here is the outfit she came home in. It had a t-shirt, pants with feeties, a little cotton jacket and a hat. The cutest part was the ruffle on the tushy.
