if you gave birth at Huntington hospital
what did they send you home with? (diapers,wipes,formula)
About how many of each, and what type of formula?

they had me empty out the cart the day I was leaving.
-Pampers (size one)
-A&D - travel size
-alcohol wipes
-wet/dry wipes
-I swiped a receiving blanket that was really soft
-a soothy pacifier that was given to DS when he was circ.
-I BF so not sure about formula

I cleaned them out of everything that wasn't screwed down.
They do give you a lot to take home though.

We were RIGHT across from the supplies - we swiped tons and tons of formula - TONS - and some undershirts, and a few receiving blankets... they gave us the rest of the dieprs in his cart and stuff like that - but I sent DH home everyday with a huge shopping back full of stuff!!!

Every time they brought the baby in the bassinet... I took a lot of the stuff on the cart. Then on the last day they told me to take everything from the bassinet/cart. I must have had about 30 diapers by the time we left and a load of A&D packages. I only took one receiving blanket as a momento...we have plenty of our own.

I was bf'ing too but supplementing in the beginning. They gave me 3 cases of Neosure formula (for preemies) & a doz of the tiny feeding bottles. Little hats

They also gave me the diaper bag with a can of Similac Advanced with Iron.

We took everything in his "bassinet/cart"..
Diapers
Formula
Dry/wet Wipes
A & D
Then also a diaper bag with Similac Advance and coupons etc.

I too took everything from the cart everytime....especially the formula. Also, before you leave, ask the nurse if you can have some extra formula.
Also, don't be afraid to ask your pediatrician's office for formula when you go.
