Take them with you. I took my iron pills with me. I figured I'd be very anemic after passing so much blood. Half of the time they have no idea whats going on. I gave birth and was tended to for a few hours after that I was all on my own.....

I am a pharmacist in a hospital and I will tell you that for most medications you don't need to bring them with you. The hospital will provide them. However, it is not recommended to switch brands of thyroid medication and you have no way of knowing which brand the hospital is using. I suggest bringing it with you and taking your own -- it will just make life easier for you. Just tell the nurses when they do your admission assessment that you take it and what the dose is and that you want to take your own.
ETA: Just be sure to tell them that you are taking it since the pharmacy will need to screen it for interactions with other medications you may need to get.

I brought mine and I'm glad I did. They always forgot to bring them, or they'd bring them at different times. It was annoying so I'm glad I had them.

I took mine but didn't need them. I reminded my OB before he left the hospital after delivery and he informed staff. They never forgot. Don't forget to have your levels checked around 4 weeks after delivery to have your dose readjusted. My dose changed while I was pregnant and now I am back to my normal.
