If You Did Sesame Place as a Day Trip, What time did you Leave in the Morning?

We were supposed to stay overnight but we are not anymore. We are going tomorrow. What time did you guys leave? The park opens at 10am but we wanted to avoid city traffic on the way there, but don't want an hour to kill once we get there. Any suggestions?

TIA!

Are you doing the breakfast? That starts at 9:15AM. I would try to leave by 7 or so.

Re: If You Did Sesame Place as a Day Trip, What time did you Leave in the Morning?

I just went yesterday so I have a ton of info for you, so ask away!

We were in the car at 7am - stopped for bagels and to get ice for the cooler - and we were in the park by 9:05 just in time for our 9:15 breakfast with Cookie Monster and friends.

We left after the parade that was at 5:00 - so I would say we were in the car by 5:40ish. We stopped at a reststop to pee and eat and were home in our house at 8pm. Again, no traffic.

The absolute best part of it was, if you are pregnant you can get a wristband that gets you to the front of every single line. I would have never known this if it wasn't for Phoebee. It was amazing - we flew threw all the rides and were able to go back two and three times.

You def. do not need more than one day at the park either.

Bring a cooler - we had one filled with water, juice, and lots of fruit for Jack to eat. We have one on wheels (kind of like a little suitcase) so DH pulled that around all day - if you want to borrow it you can. It was really easy! I would have packed lunches but Jack doesn't eat sandwichesChat Icon

Thanks - I'll see if we can still book a breakfast, it seems easier time-wise :)

I think the only other question I have is do I bring my Nikon, or do I bring my old crappy point and shoot? I want good pictures, but I don't want to be worried about my camera the whole time.

I brought my SLR - everyone had one. I had it zipped up in my diaper bag when I wasn't using it.

The breakfast with Elmo was sold out so we had breakfast with Cookie. Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, Abby Cadabby, and Cookie were all there - it was great.

I left at 10am.
It was my 2nd time so no need to do breakfast.
We caught no traffic and was there by 11:45.

We left there around 1/2hr before closing.

Thanks guys! Chat Icon And thanks for the offer to borrow the cooler Diana Chat Icon I have a small one we can use. E doesn't eat sandwiches either so we'll wind up buying some overpriced food that she may or may not eat. LOL.

Of course the breakfasts are sold out. Chat Icon I should have planned better.

Umm, this I did not know Chat Icon It was 95 degrees the day we were there. Although most rides had a sign that said you shouldn't go on if PG, so what lines were you able to skip? I only did the carousel with Ryan and was a little dizzy from that Chat Icon

We were able to cut all lines - didn't matter that I wasn't going on them and only DH and Jack went on them. I was telling every pregnant woman that I saw there. It was AMAZING.

If you don't do breakfast, you can leave at 8 and be there right when the park opens.
